Vorliegender Apparat giebt die genaue Copie einer Zeichnung, einer Schrift oder jeder anderen graphischen Production in jedem beliebigen Mafsstabe und gestattet die entsprechende positive oder negative Gravirung auf beliebiges Material zur Anfertigung von Cliches, Druckplatten etc. Durch die beliebige Reduction des Mafsstabes sollen sich mittelst dieses Apparates die schärfsten Uebertragungen von einer Originalplatte erzielen lassen, wie dies z. Der Apparat, Fig. 1 und 2, besteht im wesentlichen aus folgenden Theilen. Auf dem Fufs oder Gestell Q liegt auf zwei Lagern eine in ihrer Mitte mit einer Schnecke F versehene Welle D, auf welcher an jedem Ende eine Scheibe A und E fest angebracht sind. Beide Scheiben sind mit verschiebbaren Klemmschrauben B versehen, womit Platten verschiedener Gröfse befestigt werden können. Scheibe A wird durch eine Saite ,S¹ oder einen Riemen und mithin auch Scheibe E in rotirende Bewegung gesetzt. Schnecke F greift in das Schneckenrad O ein, welches in der Mitte der im rechten Winkel über Welle D liegenden Welle G befestigt ist; an beiden Enden der Welle G sind Zahnräder P aufgesetzt, die in darunterliegende Räder P' eingreifen, welch letztere auf Schraubenspindeln H' und H" fest sind. Die mit Schraubenmuttern versehenen Schlitten J¹ und/" werden von den Spindeln in eine gleitende Bewegung gesetzt.
