Description
The invention relates to an optical device for the simultaneous imaging of the entire retina of the Eye of living beings for the purpose of observation and / or recording as well as for photosurgical treatment, in particular by means of laser beams, with an optical immersion system consisting of one with Liquid wetted front lens lying on the cornea of the eye and from one behind it located, preferably spherical field lens, wherein the lenses are mounted in a mount. These Socket consists of a tapering, frustoconical and adjoining it in the front area in the rear area cylindrical hollow body open at the end.
Auch der Gegenstand der DE-PS 11 88 326 hat nicht befriedigen können, daSuch a device, already proposed earlier by the inventor, is fundamental in terms of its principle Structure from DE-PS 11 88 326 became known. As can be seen, inter alia, from FR-PS 21 36 927 and 21 68 842, the problem has with the help of a relative simple device to overlook the largest possible area of the retina of the eye of living beings can, the professional world is busy in many ways. The latter two publications show that that you can solve the problem in relatively expensive, complicated optics with a large Number of optical links searched. The subject of DE-PS 11 88 326 has not been able to satisfy, since
Das aus dieser Veröffentlichung bekannte Gerät liegt dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 zugrunde.ίο the device was not yet able to do what it was able to do had originally expected from him. The further development led contrary to the forecast of Experts to a result that is reflected in the publication in the journal Documenta Ophthalmological 1969, Vol. 26, pp. 300-308. The device known from this publication is based on the preamble of claim 1.
This known device, however, has the mechanical disadvantage that it is practical therefore not yet proven to be useful, because it was too unwieldy, too misshapen and too heavy and Moreover, it was not adherent enough to be attached to the patient's eye because it was different from him moving eyelid could either be pushed to one side or slightly lifted from the cornea.
Bei Gonioskopen, die ebenfalls direkt auf das AugeIn the case of gonioscopes, which are also applied directly to the eye
aufzusetzende Frontlinsen enthalten, sind bereits Fassungen bekannt mit einem sich trichterförmig vom Auge des Patienten fort erweiternden Fassungsring, anContain front lenses to be attached, versions are already known with a funnel-shaped from Eye of the patient on the widening ring
Sträub »Die opthalmologischen Untersuchungsmethoden«, 1970, S. 174-177,186-187 und 190-194).JO which one at the end facing the eye outwardly protruding collar is located to lock the eyelids in place. Have a similar structure also so-called indentation funnels or eyelid locks, into which the respective ones come into consideration Devices have to be introduced (see Sträub "Die ophthalmological investigation methods", 1970, p. 174-177, 186-187 and 190-194).
The aforementioned disadvantages of the wide-angle optics previously developed by the inventor also apply to the well-known gonioscopes used for examining the chamber angle or for the identification funnels. As far as the mirror gonioscope according to Goldmann had the above-mentioned collar, this was the case a measure that was only used temporarily and was soon abandoned, which inevitably suggests that this collar has not proven itself, at least not in the previously known one Embodiment. From practical application, however, it is known that the collar-shaped approaches the devices in question do not have the necessary security required for fundus viewing glasses could prevent unwanted eyelid influences.
The invention was therefore based on the object to improve the previously known device in such a way that it is designed to be lighter in weight and, moreover, more manageable, and furthermore for the entire duration of the ophthalmologic examination remains constantly and securely on the cornea of the eyeball.
A socket designed in this way makes it possible to save weight and to make the socket as small as possible, which makes handling the device much easier. A As tests have shown, such a device is first problem-free, practical, in the hands of the doctor light and easy-to-use device that is easy for the examiner to use Doctor completely on the with the device-

Die Erfindung ist nachstehend anhand eines in der Zeichnung dargestellten, besonders be/orzugten und bewährten Ausführungsbeispiels näher erläutertThe invention is described below with reference to one shown in the drawing, particularly preferred and proven embodiment explained in more detail
Um zu verhindern, daß auf der vorderen Fläche der FrontlinseThe device consists of the front lens 11 designed as a meniscus with a refractive power of approximately 70 D and the field lens 12 located behind this in the shape of a sphere. The two lenses 11 and 12 are connected to one another by the front mounting ring 13. In order to prevent from being on the front surface of the front lens

Anstelle einer Klemm- oder Steckverbindung ist es auch möglich, den zylindrischen Ansatz 16 der Feldlinse11 located wetting liquid penetrates into the air space between the two lenses 11 and 12 is between the outer circumference of the front lens 11 and the front mounting ring 13, a sealing ring 14, in particular an O-ring arranged in a groove 15 of the mounting ring 13 is located. On the front lens 11 facing side, the field lens 12 is provided with a first cylindrical projection 16 on which the Mount ring 13 can be plugged with its rear end. Instead of a clamp or plug connection, it is also possible, the cylindrical extension 16 of the field lens

The front end face 17 of the front mounting ring 13 is designed in the shape of a hollow cone, the opening angle of the hollow conical surface an angle of about 105 to 112 °, but preferably about 108 °, amounts to. Such a training enables the device to be used with all human eyes can.
The front part of the outer surface of the front socket ring 13 is rearward, inward by about 8 to 12 °, preferably about 10 °, inclined relative to the optical axis. This funnel-shaped shape provides the The advantage is that by pinching the eyelids, the patient cannot get the device out of the eyelid can squeeze out, but then press it even tighter onto the eyeball.
Die leicht zu handhabende mechanische Lösbarkeit des hinterenIn the area of the central plane, the field lens 12 has a further cylindrical extension 19 on which the rear retaining ring 20 with its front cylindrical part 21 is easily detachably attached. Der hintere Teil 22 des hinteren Halterings 20 ist kegel- bzw. trichterförmig sich nach hinten erweiternd ausgebildet und überragt den rückwärtigen Scheitel der Feldlinse, um diese beim Ablegen des Instruments vor Beschädigungen, insbesondere Kratzern, Riefen od. dgl. zu bewahren.ι ο Retaining ring is necessary around the rear surface of the field lens Easy to clean because there are dirt particles, fingerprints, etc. that are microscopic Can interfere with viewing the image. The rear part 22 of the rear retaining ring 20 is conical or funnel-shaped widening towards the rear and protruding beyond the rear vertex of the field lens, to protect them from damage, in particular scratches, grooves or the like, when the instrument is put down maintain.
