Die Erfindung betrifft einen Stab für Schutzgitter zur Sicherung von Fenstern und Türen gegen Einbruch. Das zur Herstellung solcher Gitter allgemein verwendete Rund- oder Vierkanteisen kann ohne auffälliges Geräusch zersägt werden.
