In den Seitenwänden des Hutes α sind zwei Nadeln b^l und δ² geführt, die an ihren nach außen stehenden Enden zweckmäßig mit Schmuckköpfen c versehen sind. Auf den nach innen stehenden Enden der Befestigungsnadeln, die mit Gewinde d versehen sind, sind Bügel e¹ und e², die aus elastischem Material, wie Bronze, Zelluloid, Bein ο. dgl. bestehen, mittels der Muttern f lösbar befestigt. Zwischen der Hutwand g und den Bügeln e sind auf die Befestigungsnadeln b Spiralfedern aufgesetzt, die die Bügel e stets von der Hutwand abdrücken und so ein Gegeneinanderfedern der Bügel e¹ und <?² bewirken.
