Die Schleifenschnalle besteht aus dem Rahmen a, in welchem die beiden die Zungen e, e tragenden Zungenstege b und b¹ angeordnet sind. Die Zungen beider Stege legen sich in entgegengesetzter Richtung mit ihren Spitzen auf den Rahmen auf. An einer Längsseite des Schnallenrahmens α ist ein zweiter Rahmen c angelenkt. Beide Rahmen sind an der Schlußseite mit Verschlußteilen versehen, so daß die Schnalle beim Zusammendrücken der beiden Rahmen geschlossen wird.
