Der Gegenstand der Erfindung betrifft einen Mauerdübel, der aus einem der Länge nach aufgeschlitzten und durch Streifen zusammengehaltenen Mantel besteht, der beim Anziehen einesj in ihn eingesetzten Schraubenbolzens durch im Innern gelagerte Keilmuttern auseinandergedrückt und im Mauerwerk festgeklemmt wird. Von den bekannten Dübeln dieser Art unterscheidet sich der Erfindungsgegenstand dadurch, daß er mehrere nach vornj gerichtete Keilflächen besitzt, die gleichzeitig wirken und so ein möglichst gleichmäßiges Auseinandergehen der Mantelteile bewirken. Hierzu trägt auch der Umstand bei, daß nicht die Ränder, wie bei den bekannten derartigen Dübeln, sondern die Mitten der beiden Mantelhälften durch Stege verbunden sind; die von den angrenzenden Teilen der Mamelhälften durch bis zu deren Mitten reichende Schlitze getrennt sind. Der Erfindungsgegenstand besteht einerseits aus dem Mantel A, B (Fig. 1 bis 3) und anderseits aus der Keilmutter D (Fig. 5). Der Mantel wird aus den beiden halbzylinderförmigen Teilen A und B gebildet, die durch einen Streifen C zusammengehalten werden. Der Streifen beginnt mitten auf dem Umfang der Mantelhälfte A und endigt in der Mitte der anderen Mantelhälfte B und besitzt eine solche Länge, daß er nach dem Zusammenbiegen der Mantelhälften in der Mantelfläche liegt. Die Längskanten des Streifens sind dabei durch Schlitze C1, C2, c3, c4 von den benachbarten Teilen der Mantelhälften getrennt. Der Mantel wird gewöhnlich durch Gießen oder im Gesenk hergestellt. Die beiden Teile A und B liegen bei der Herstellung zunächst mit ihren Längskanten in der gleichen Ebene, während der Streifen C sich in einer dazu parallelen Ebene befindet (Fig. 2 und 3). Alsdann werden die Mantelhälften durch Biegen des Streifens C so zusammengebracht, daß sie einen Zylinder bilden, wobei der Streifen der Außenlinie des Zylindermantels folgt. ' Wären die beiden Hälften unmittelbar an zwei aneinanderstoßenden Kanten miteinander verbunden, so würde der Verbindungsstreifen sehr kurz ausfallen und beim Biegen leicht geknickt werden und abbrechen.
