Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine zusammenklappbare Leiter mit Plattform und mit am oberen Ende angeordneter Brüstung, die selbsttätig beim Aufklappen der Leiter in die Gebrauchslage, d. h. in die wagerechte Lage, gebracht wird, der Raumersparnis wegen beim Zusammenklappen der Leiter nach unten klappt und sich an die Leiter anlegt.
