Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet eine zusammenlegbare Rettungsleiter, die im zusammengelegten Zustande als Fenster-Schutzgitter verwendet werden und als solche dauernd am Gebäude befestigt sein kann. Von den bereits bekannten Einrichtungen ähnlicher Art unterscheidet sich der Erfindungsgegenstand vor allem durch die besondere Bauart der aus Flacheisen hergestellten Leiter, die ein zollstockartiges Zusammenlegen der mit Gelenken versehenen Seitenteile gestattet.
