Die mannigfachen Uebelstände, welche den aufgeleimten Stofsledern und namentlich der Befestigungsweise
derselben anhaften, haben vorliegende Erfindung hervorgerufen; dieselbe bezweckt,
den angegebenen Zweck auf die einfachste und billigste Weise zu erreichen.The manifold inconveniences caused by the glued-on leather and especially the method of fastening
adhering to the same have given rise to the present invention; the same aims
to achieve the stated purpose in the simplest and cheapest way.
Auf den Billardstock wird eine kurze, leichte Zwinge a mit durchgehendem, inneren Gewinde
aufgeschraubt, welche soviel über das Holz hervorragt, als zur Aufnahme des Leders dienlich
ist. Innerhalb dieser Zwinge, im Kopf des Billardstocks, ist ein Ring b mit innerem und
äufserem Gewinde in das Holz eingeschraubt, aus welchem er nur so weit als die Zwinge
hervorsteht. Das Queueleder, das um den Rand seiner Basis ein wenig abgedreht ist, um in die
Zwinge hineinzupassen, und welches in seiner Basis einen ringförmigen Einschnitt zur Aufnahme
des Ringes b hat, wird auf diesen Ring und in die Zwinge eingeschraubt, also durch ein dreifaches
