Die Erfindung betrifft einen Wasserleitungshahn mit einem in der Spindel des Hauptventils geführten, als Reparaturverschluß dienenden Hilfsventil. Dadurch wird beim öffnen des Hauptventils das Hilfsventil mit angehoben, bis es an denunteren Sitz des Ringes R anstößt. Soll nun das Hauptventil zu Reparaturzwecken ganz herausgeschraubt werden, so löst sich beim Herausdrehen der Kappe aus dem Gehäuse die Federkupplung selbsttätig, und das Hilfsventil wird durch den Wasserdruck auf seinen Sitz gedrückt. Infolge des zwangsweisen Anhebens des Hilfsventils wird der Möglichkeit vorgebeugt, daß das Hilfsventil durch den Wasserdruck nicht angehoben wird, sondern auf dem Gehäuseboden liegenbleibt.The operation of the device is such that the spring clutch engages as soon as the main valve is screwed down onto the upper seat of the ring R.
