Bei Schrägstellung der Walzen wird das Reibrad β relativ ebenfalls nur etwas aus der Mittelebene der Reibräder d und e gebracht, was jedoch ohne Einfluß bleibt. Zum An- und Abstellen der Transportvorrichtung dient der Hebel 0. Derselbe ist durch eine 4°· Klaue p mit dem Reibrade α verbunden. Beim Abstellen bewegt man den Hebel in Richtung des Pfeiles, soweit es der auf der Messerwelle befindliche Anschlag q zuläßt. Dadurch wird das Rad a in Aussparungen von d und e gebracht und somit außer Tätigkeit gesetzt. Die Einstellung der Vorschubgeschwindigkeiten erfolgt durch Verschieben des Reibrades α auf den zur Übertragung der Bewegung bestimmten Flächen der Reibräder d und e.
