Abstract

The displacement-type machine (1) can be operated either as motor or as pump and is inserted between the connection of the low pressure storage vessel (2) and the high pressure storage vessel (3). The high pressure storage vesses is designed as an enclosed vessel filled with hydraulic fluid separated from the pressurising gas cushion by an elastic diaphragm. As a standby for peak loads the displacement machine is connected to the engine (6) by a mechanical adding gear (4). It is possible to transmit outputs from the displacement motor (1) to the driven axle (5) or to transmit outputs from the engine (6) to the displacement machine operating as a pump and/or to the driven axle.
