Die Anwendung des bekannten Spiralkorkziehers bringt den Uebelstand mit sich, dafs die
mittelst desselben ausgezogenen Korke durchbohrt werden müssen, so dafs deren Wiederverwendung
in sehr vielen Fällen unthunlich ist; leicht aber werden solche Korke, weil die
Durchbohrung nicht beachtet wird, die Ursache des Verderbens von Getränken.The use of the well-known spiral corkscrew brings with it the disadvantage that the

Diesen Nachtheilen begegnet schon jetzt ein im Handel befindlicher Korkzieher, der das Ausziehen

hat aber den Nachtheil einer wenig handlichen Form und verursacht verhältnifsmäfsig

Z M und L· M1 führen sich in ihren oberen

befestigten Griffe A und A' zu nennen. Diese
Griffe greifen so, wie Fig. 3 zeigt, übereinander, nämlich nach der Linie abcd. Es ist sogleich
zu erkennen, dafs sich die Kante α b auf der Innenfläche von Z, die Kante c d aber auf der

Die Anwendung des Korkziehers geschieht nun so, dafs die eine der beiden Hälften in

worauf durch eine mehr drehende als ziehende Bewegung des ganzen Korkziehers der Stöpsel
