Diese Rahmenlängsschenkel sind zur Erleichterung der Montage aus Kunststoff- oder Metall-Profilen hergestellt, die am Stab oberflächenveredelt werden können und lediglich auf entsprechende Länge geschnitten werden. Die die Seitenteile bildenden Rahmen-Querschenkel hingegen können stets gleichartig ausgebildet sein und beispielsweise als Kunststoff-Spritzlinge oder Druckgussteile kostengünstig hergestellt werden. Bei diesem Herstellungsverfahren lassen sich vorteilhafte Profilvorsprünge an den Rahmenquerschenkeln anformen, welche eine einfache Steckverbindung mit den Profil-Längsschenkeln ermöglichen. Die Querschenkel werden dabei in günstiger Weise zu ihrer Längs-Mittellinie symmetrisch ausgebildet, so daß auch keine unterschiedliche Ausgestaltung für links oder rechtssitzende Rahmen-Querschenkel notwendig ist; jeder Schenkel läßt sich in beliebiger Weise stets passend anordnen. Die stufenförmig abgesetzte Ausführung der Endstücke bringt dabei weitgehendst glatte Rahmenflächen und bedingt hierdurch eine optisch und einbautechnisch günstige Wirkung. Der lichte Abstand zwischen den Längsschenkeln ist durch an den Endstücken sitzende Zungen bestimmt. Die Endstücke können außerdem Zusatzeinrichtungen wie beispielsweise einen Klingelknopf oder Namensschild-Querschnitt aufnehmen. Zur Befestzgung des Briefeinwurfes werden an der Anschlagfläche lediglich die Endstücke fixiert, deren Steckverbindungs-Vorsprünge hierzu mit entsprechenden Öffnungen zum Eintritt von Befestigungsmitteln versehen sind. Es können beispielsweise einfache Gewindeschrauben zur Anwendung kommen, deren Mehrkantkopf durch entsprechende Ausgestaltung der Öffnungen in den Steckverbindungs-Vorsprüngen drehfest gehalten ist. Durch diese Ausgestaltung ergibt sich der Vorteil, daß nach Befestigen der die Endstücke bildenden Querschenkel an der Unterbringungsfläche für den Briefeinwurf gleichzeitig mit dieser Befestigung auch die Stabilisierung des Briefeinwurf-Rahmens erfolgt ist, da die profilierten Längsschenkel zufolge Fixierung der Querschenkel nicht mehr aus ihrer Lage gelangen können.
