Die Erfindung betrifft einen Nußknacker gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruches.The invention relates to a nutcracker according to the preamble of the patent claim.

Zum Knacken von Nüssen ist insbesondere bei dickschaligen Nüssen ein relativ großer Kraftaufwand erforderlich. Zur Arretierung des den beweglichen Backen tragenden Schaftes läßt sich eine an einem Betätigungshebel, der mit dem Handgriff gelenkig verbunden ist, angeordnete Sperrklinke mit an dem Schaft vorgesehenen Zähnen in Eingriff bringen. Durch die Bewegung des Betätigungshebels wird gleichzeitig der an dem Schaft angeordnete Backen auf den mit dem Griff fest verbundenen Backen zubewegt Der Bewegungsweg der Sperrklinke und damit des Betätigungshebels wird durch einen Anschlag an dem mit dem Handgriff verbundenen Backen begrenzt. Dieser Nußknacker ist im Aufbau sehr aufwendig und damit störanfällig. Außerdem läßt sich die Maulbreite nicht exakt an den Durchmesser der zu knackenden Nuß anpassen. Daher muß der Bewegungsweg des beweglichen Backens größer ausgelegt werden.
