Der Griff besteht aus zwei Haupttheilen: dem gedrehten Griff und der unteren Platte. Nebentheile
sind: Metallstab, Zwinge und Feder. Die Zwinge sitzt am Ende des Griffes, ist 19 mm
lang und hat einen Durchmesser von 18 mm. Das Ende des Griffes ist nur mit 4 mm Länge
in die Zwinge gesteckt, der übrige Theil der Zwinge bleibt hohl, um die Feder mit fünf Umgängen
aufzunehmen. Der oberste Umgang ist an der Zwinge festgelöthet. Die Platte, 4 mm
dick, gewöhnlich länglich, hat in der Mitte eine runde Höhlung, der Rand derselben, 4 mm
über der Platte vorstehend, hat eine eingedrehte Rille, in welche die Feder zu liegen kommt
und festgenietet wird. Der 4 mm dicke Stab, in die Mitte des Griffes eingesteckt, steht 4 mm
der Zwinge vor, ist vorn abgerundet und berührt die Mitte der . Plattenhöhlung, . welche
ca. 8 mm Umfang hat. Die Zwinge mit der Feder wird nun über das Griffende gezogen und
ein Stift durch Zwinge und Griff gesteckt, damit die angestreckte Feder die Zwinge nicht mit
der Zeit vom Griff losreifst. Wird dieser Griff für gröfsere oder kleinere Stempel angewendet,
so wird er im Verhältnifs vergröfsert oder verkleinert. Zweck des Griffes ist, einer noch ungeübten
