Das Gerät besteht aus einem aus Längsstücken α und Querstücken 5 zusammengesetzten Gestell oder Zugbaum mit einem verstellbaren Stelzrade c und einer Zugöse d. Das Gestell hat abwärts gerichtete Seitenstücke e, die unten mittels einer angenieteten Platte f (Fig. 3) miteinander verbunden sind. Die Platte f ist ihrerseits durch versenkte Niete mit .einer besonders ausgebildeten Platte h, die ein ausgezacktes Schar g mit abwärts gerichteter Schneide trägt, verbunden, und zwar derart, daß die Unterseiten der beiden Platten eine ebene Fläche bilden. Das Schar steht quer zu der Bewegungsrichtung des Geräts, damit die auszurottenden Pflanzen nicht abgleiten können.
