Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Verhütung und Heilung des Afterfratts, des sogenannten Wolfes, bei dem es sich um eine Entzündung der äußeren Haut in der Nähe des Afters handelt. Bisher wurde zur Heilung des Wolfes vielfach das Auflegen verschiedenartiger Salben, insbesondere Borsalbe, Zinksalbe, Boroglyzerin, Lanolin usw. angewendet; bei besonders großer Hautnässe ίο wurden die entzündeten Stellen oftmals mit austrocknendem Pulver bestreut oder auch durch zwischengelegte getränkte Kissen auseinandergehalten.
