Bei Besuchen, Konzerten, Gesellschaften oder Vergnügungen irgendwelcher Art kommt es gar häufig vor, daß man Schirme oder Spazierstöcke verwechselt oder auch wohl gar liegen läßt und sie so verliert. Mehrfach sind daher schon Versuche gemacht worden, gegen solche Vorkommnisse geeignete Vorkehrungen zu treffen.Comes at visits, concerts, parties or entertainment of any kind it often happens that one confuses umbrellas or walking sticks, or even confuses them and so lose them. Die Doppeltroddel c ist mittels einer feinen Kette, Bandschleife oder Schnur b .an dem Spazierstock oder Schirm α befestigt. Beide Troddeln sind derartig ausgeführt, daß um einen U-förmig gebogenen federnden Stahlbügel d die gewöhnliche Troddelverzierung angebracht worden ist. Werden nun Mäntel oder sonstige Überkleider abgelegt, so braucht die Doppeltroddel c nur über einen Knopf o. dgl. des Kleidungsstückes geschoben zu werden, und beide sind fest miteinander verbunden.
