Abstract

A cylindrical roller bearing has tubular roller elements. Each element carries two tubular sleeves which are free to rotate inside the roller tube. The sleeves are filled with a lubricating substance which reaches the bearing races through the gap between the two sleeves and a hole in the roller tube at a matching axial position.
