Zum Oeffhen dieses Vorhängeschlosses mit Schnepperverschlufs wird ein Schlüssel ohne Bart benutzt. Mittelst einer Feder wird die Falle stets in eine solche Stellung gebracht, dafs der Verschlufsbügel beim, blofsen Eindrücken in den Schlofskasten festgehalten wird. Der Schlüsselbart liegt hierbei direct im Schlofskasten. Die Drehung desselben findet nur in der einen Richtung, und zwar von rechts nach links statt, während die Rückwärtsbewegung des Bartes durch die Falle selbst bezw. durch die auf diese wirkende Feder geschieht.To open this padlock with Schnepperverschlufs a key without a beard is used.
