KohlemikrofonCarbon microphone
The invention relates in particular coal s microphones as those used in telephone technology on carbon microphones.
Die bekannten Kohlemikrofone weisen vor allem die nachfolgend genannten drei Nachteile auf;The known carbon microphones have the following three disadvantages in particular;
The charcoal granulate tends to become semi-solid Merge blocks together, resulting in a lower one The sensitivity of the microphone capsule results in j
The carbon granulate is distributed, depending on the angle at which the microphone capsule is held, in irregular accumulations between the membrane and the inner back wall of the capsule, which creates a mechanical stiffness P which in turn increases the frequency response and also the sensitivity influence?

A common cause for the occurrence of all these disadvantages is to be found in the fact that between the individual Coal granules slide against each other and cause friction arises that would be avoidable. It would be desirable that the accumulation of charcoal granules keep recurring would be regenerated as soon as one speaks, in order to avoid caking and to prevent any spark ignition. At present a regeneration of the charcoal granulate takes place only in the case of very loud speech or with certain movements of the microphone take place, e.g. with a conscious pivoting of the same over an angular range of at least 90 °. When the sliding friction of the coal granulate can be reduced or prevented, even with conversations at normal volume or with only little movement of the handset, a good conversation can be achieved automatically.
The invention aims to overcome the disadvantages mentioned above to avoid and to create a granulate that can be used for carbon microphones, which prevents the Prevents carbon granules.
Erfindungsgemäß wird dies dadurch erreicht, daß das Kohle-Granulat aus einer Mischung von Kohlekörnern und einer Beimischung von Teilchen eines schmiermittelartigen trockenen Pulvers besteht, wobei die Beimischung aus Teilchen gebildet wird, die zu individuellen Abmaßen geformt sind, inAccording to the invention this is achieved in that the coal granules from a mixture of carbon grains and an admixture of particles of a lubricant-like dry Powder, the admixture being formed from particles shaped into individual dimensions in

According to one embodiment of the invention, the admixture is a Kie sei-earth compound made from medium-like dry powder.
Die Erfindung wird anhand einer Zeichnung beschrieben. Die Zeichnung zeigt:The invention is described with reference to a drawing. The drawing shows:
einzelne, im Prinzip gezeichnete und vergrößert dargestellte Körner eines Kohle-Granulates, mit zwischen diesen angeordneten Beimischungen eines anderen Materials. individual, in principle drawn and shown enlarged grains of a coal granulate, with between these arranged admixtures of another material.
The individual grains of the charcoal granulate designated by 10 in the illustration consist of irregularly shaped Particles with a hard surface. The grains of the granules are about 100 micromillimeters in size and the surface irregularities are on the order of micromillimeters. Adding a lubricant-like dry powder, the particles 11 of which are between 1 and 10 micromillimeters in size, reduced the friction between the individual coal granulate grains. The lubricant-like dry powder particles 11 are by electrostatic forces from the Grains 10 of the coal granules are attracted, the particles 11 being evenly distributed between the coal grains 10 and act like a ball bearing to reduce friction. The particles 11 can with the coal granules are mixed with one another by agitation. The particles 11 thus added to the grains 10 adhere to them very solid and cannot be removed or broken off due to a large oscillation amplitude in the frequency range of about 20 kHz.

It has been found through research that adding about Vfo of this lubricant-like dry powder to a given amount of carbon granules gives an average increase in sensitivity of 1.5dB to 2.0dB. Incidentally, the sensitivity tends to be lower at higher temperatures, but this has been found in microphones which use carbon granules with no admixture. The improvement in sensitivity is associated with an increase in dynamic resistance of less than $ 5. Greater improvements can only be achieved if it is possible to increase the resistance by about $ 10. We have also found that a reduction in sensitivity occurs when the proportion of the lubricant-like dry powder exceeds 2% of the total mixture of the charcoal granules.
Part of the sensitivity of a carbon microphone depends on that the number of contacts between the microscopically only recognizable uneven surfaces of the carbon grains 10 is changeable. The silica-earth particles 11 mixed with the coal granules constitute an accumulation of a multitude of ground-silica-earth-particles, which are held together by electrostatic charges and occur as branched, fiber-like structures that take on a size of approx. 1 to 10 micromillimeters and are very adaptable are. When the silica-earth particles 11 are evenly distributed between the grains 10 of the coal granules, as shown in the illustration, they reduce the
