Die dargestellten Anschlufskloben haben hauptsächlich den Zweck, in Hohlkehlen, auf Stäben, Stangen, Röhren u. s. w. von beliebigem Querschnitt gestreift oder seitwärts aufgeschoben und durch Anziehen der Muttern derartig auf denselben festgeklemmt zu werden, dafs der rechtwinklig zum Stabe u. s. w. befestigte Anschlufskloben mit seinen ausladenden Theilen m zur Aufnahme von Constructionstheilen geeignet ist, welche neben dem Stabe oder parallel zu demselben angeordnet werden sollen. Werden nun die Muttern c angezogen, bis deren halbkugelförmiger Kopf sich gegen die Schweifung der Flügel prefst, so gleiten bei weiterem Anziehen die Muttern an der Schweifung der Flügel nieder, und hierbei wird die Backe b gegen den Stab h geprefst, dessen Umfang gleichzeitig von allen Seiten eingeprefst wird.The connecting block consists of two parts: the wing chamber α and the clamping jaw b.
