Die Vorrichtung besteht aus zwei Theilen, einem Winkelhalter und einem abnehmbaren Winkel. Der Winkelhalter ist einer Schraubzwinge ähnlich jind besteht aus einem Bügel a, einer Schraube b und aus zwei Klemmbacken, von denen der eine c mit dem Bügel fest verbunden ist bezw. mit demselben ein Gufsstück bildet, während der andere d mit der Schraube b in loser Verbindung steht. Beide Klemmbacken sind auf den einander zugekehrten Flächen stumpfwinklig ausgefräst. Der Bügel ist so bemessen, dafs der Winkelhalter an Wellen von etwa 30 bis 150 mm Durchmesser vermittelst der Schraube befestigt werden kann. Der feste Klemmbacken c besitzt eine schwalbenschwanzförmige Nuth, in welche der Winkel mit seinem kurzen Schenkel e, der einen der ISfuth entsprechenden Querschnitt hat, eingeschoben werden kann.The device consists of two parts, an angle holder and a removable angle. Die Anwendung der Vorrichtung, von welcher man zweier Exemplare bedarf, geschieht in folgender Weise. Es wird vorausgesetzt, dafs die waagerechte Lage der betreffenden Wellen mit Hülfe der Wasserwaage vorher festgestellt ist. Die Wellen werden dann durch eine gespannte Schnur mit einander verbunden. Der eine Winkelhalter C wird auf derjenigen Welle A befestigt, deren Lage für die andere B mafsgebend sein soll (Fig. 3). Der Winkel mufs mit seinem Scheitelpunkt an der Schnur anliegen. Das andere Schnurende wird nun so lange verschoben, bis die Schnur mit dem freien Schenkel des Winkels C vollständig bündig liegt. Die Schnur bildet alsdann mit der Achsrichtung der ersten Welle A einen Winkel von 90⁰. Hierauf wird auf die zweite Welle B der andere Winkelhalter D dicht an der Befestigungsstelle der Schnur angeschraubt und die Welle in seitlicher Richtung so lange verschoben, bis der freie Schenkel des zweiten Winkels D mit der Schnur ebenfalls bündig liegt (Fig. 4). Die beiden Wellen werden alsdann eine genau parallele Lage zu einander einnehmen.The application of the device, of which two copies are required, takes place in the following way.
