Masse zur Nachbildung der Bleieinfassungen auf Gläsern.Composition for replicating the lead frames on glasses.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 22. Juni 1909 ab.Patented in the German Empire on June 22, 1909.
The subject of the present invention forms a mass for replicating the lead frames on glasses, which are essentially made up of a certain proportion of each Components made up mixture of potash double water glass, fixation water glass, cement decoction, It consists of powdered marble and pumice stone, powdered lime, graphite and aluminum, tin, zinc powder.
The mass produced in this way is produced in a syrupy consistency and can be applied very easily and easily in a bead-like manner to glass by means of a shaped device j - suitably a pressure nozzle - becomes rock-hard very quickly and bonds with the glass substrate in such a crystalline manner that a A uniform whole is created which, after complete drying out, withstands weathering and mechanical impacts and cannot be removed from the glass substrate without destroying it itself. The aluminum exerts a particularly advantageous influence on the strength and weather resistance of the compound, which dissolves in the potash or soda waterglass with considerable heat and gas development, whereby the compound sets and hardens more quickly. It also makes the mass viscous, slimy and therefore suitable; to flow out of a nozzle-shaped applicator in the right condition.
A similar effect can be achieved with a not achieve mass consisting of barite and adhesive dissolved in water, since According to the inventor's attempts, this is not moisture-resistant, but always renews itself dissolves in water. The same is the case with masses made from chalk, lime, and water-glass and linseed oil are composed.
A mixture of 360 parts of finely pulverized has been found to be the most advantageous Marble, 265 parts of finely ground natural pumice stone, 280 parts of white lime powder, 85 parts of finely ground graphite and 90 parts of finely ground aluminum, tin, zinc powder, which are useful in the ratio of 75 parts of aluminum and 12.5 parts of tin or Zinc powder are mixed together. This mixture is made with a mixture of 500 parts of potash double waterglass, 400 parts Fixation water glass and 50 parts cement decoction connected. The liquid is under constant stirring added to the powder until it resembles a syrupy pulp, whereby the mass evolves gas with noticeable development of heat. By adding one Metal powder can change the color of the mass.
Die so entstehende Masse wird in 0,4 1 kochendes Wasser eingerührt und so lange stehen gelassen, bisThe cement decoction used is produced in such a way that, for example 25 ecm Portland cement are mixed with 50 ecm boiling water and this mixture is about 100 ecm 33 percent Hydrofluoric acid can be added until the effervescence stops. The resulting The mass is stirred into 0.4 l of boiling water and left to stand until
