χ ist ein vasenförmiger Fufs mit horizontal umgebogenem Rande r, auf welchem in bestimmter Reihenfolge und Eintheilung Zahlen und Buchstaben angebracht sind. In der Mitte des Bodens des Fufses χ ist ein Stift j- mit gehärteter Körnerspitze befestigt. α ist eine runde Scheibe aus Metall, Holz oder Masse, welche, wie aus Fig. 2 ersichtlich, auf dem Körnerstift ί drehbar angeordnet ist. Auf der oberen Seite dieser Drehscheibe α ist eine bestimmte Anzahl (hier sechs) Bügel c befestigt, in welche die Renner mit den Fufsplatten i eingesteckt werden. χ is a vase-shaped foot with a horizontally bent edge r, on which numbers and letters are affixed in a certain order and division. Sobald die Drehscheibe wieder zum Stillstand gekommen ist, werden die Zahlen oder Buchstaben, auf welche die Bügelspitzen zeigen, für den betreffenden Renner notirt. Kommt zufällig eine Bügelspitze gleich beim ersten Mal auf die Zahl 100 zu stehen, so ist das Spiel damit auch beendigt; der zugehörige Renner erhält den ersten Preis und die übrigen Preise folgen nach der Höhe der Zahlen, auf welche die Bügelspitzen zeigen. Aufserdem wird das Spiel so lange fortgesetzt, bis entweder ein Renner auf die Zahl 100 zu stehen kommt oder die Summe der Zahlen eines Rennens 100 beträgt. Kommt ein Renner auf G (Graben) zu stehen, so bezahlt er eine Strafe, darf sich aber am Weiterspielen betheiligen; kommt dagegen ein Renner auf W zu stehen (was Wasser bedeuten soll), so wird derselbe vom Weiterspielen ausgeschlossen und rückwärts in den Bügel eingesteckt.
