Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren, um durch Schmutz, Öl usw. verunreinigte Putzwolle unter Benutzung von chemischen Lösungsmitteln zu reinigen.

Dabei wird das gelöste Öl und der überschüssige Teil des Lösungsmittels, soweit gasförmig, durch Rohrstutzen 11, Ventile 10 und 14 zum Abscheider geführt. Danach erfolgt die Abdestillation des noch im Material und Kessel 1 enthaltenen Lösungsmittels durch Beheizung der Rohrschlange 16 unter Mitwirkung des Preßluftstromes. Die Destillation erfolgt so lange, bis der Flüssigkeitsspiegel im Kessel 1 unterhalb des Bodens des Behälters 2 gesunken ist. Alsdann wird Ventil 18 geöffnet, um die nicht verflüchtigten Bestandteile des Lösungsmittels und der abgeschiedenen öle zur Destillierblase abzuleiten. Die Destillation kann hierauf wiederholt werden, nachdem nochmals Lösungsmittel durch Rohrleitung 9 aufgefüllt ist. Nach stattgefundener Reinigung erfolgt die Trocknung unter Mitwirkung des Preßluftstromes.
