(Patentanmeldung P 22 46 723.8)o Unter den im Hauptpatent behandelten Ausführungsformen des Abdeckmittels sind uOae Alkaliborosilikatgläser in den Dreistoffsystemen (A) Na2O - B203 - SiO2 oder (B) K20 - B203 S SiO2 mit folgender Zusammensetzung beschrieben: (A) Na2O 30 bis 38 % 3203 12 bis 65 % SiO2 5 bis 60 % (B) K20 30 bis 40 % B2O3 10 bis 70 % SiO2 5 bis 60 % Es wurde nun gefunden, daß die gleichen Vorteile hinsichtlich eines wirksamen Oxidationsschutzes, einer guten Benetzung bei niedrigem Erweichungspunkt und niedriger Viskosität wie beim Hauptpatent erreicht werden, wenn die Alkaliborosilikatgläser in den Dreistoffsystemen (A) Na20 - B203 - Si02 oder (B) K2O - B2O3 - SiO2 erfindungsgemäß folgende Zusammensetzung aufweisen: (A) Na20 10 bis weniger als 30 % B203 10 bis 70 % SiO2 5 bis 60 % (B) K20 10 bis weniger als 30 % B203 10 bis 70 % SiO2 5 bis 60 % Gegebenenfalls ist es auch möglich, das Na20 teilweise durch K2O oder ganz oder teilweise durch LiO2 zu ersetzen.
