Die Anbringung des Hakens am Webgeschirr g geschieht in überaus einfacher Weise. Der Haken wird zunächst durch seine öse e, welche am Hakenschaft α angeordnet ist, an den Schnüren befestigt, welche vermittels der Lederstrippe an den Schwingen aufgehängt sind. Hierauf bohrt man für jeden anzubringenden Haken ein Loch in die Geschirrstäbe, und zwar in gleichen Abständen, so daß alle Löcher sich in sämtlichen Stäben decken. Alsdann schiebt man die Schiebeklammer d (s. Fig. 3), welche über die Flachfeder c und Zunge b in mäßiger Spannung gleitet, nach der öse β und stellt die drehbare Zunge b seitwärts, so daß nun der Haken zur Aufnähme des Schaftes geöffnet ist. Nun wird der an α vorstehende Finger f in das gebohrte Loch des Schaftes hineingedrückt (siehe Fig. 4). Hierauf wird der Haken durch die Zunge b wieder geschlossen und die Schiebeklammer d über die Flachfeder c zurückgeschoben. Die Flachfeder c hält die Schiebeklammer d in fester Lage, so daß sie sich j während des Webens nicht verschieben kann ! und infolgedessen ein Selbstöffnen des Hakens j ausgeschlossen ist. Nach dem Abweben der Kette hat man nur nötig, sämtliche Haken über und unter dem Webgeschirr zu öffnen, und dasselbe ist in voller Spannung vom Stuhl ausgelöst. In umgekehrter Weise verfährt man beim Einlegen der Kette. Ein zweiter Vorteil ist noch der, daß mit diesem Haken ein seitliches Verschieben der einzelnen Schäfte verhindert wird, da die Haken sich in jede erforderliche Schräglage einstellen können. Infolgedessen bleibt stets ein reines Webfach erhalten.The attachment of the hook to the harness g is done in an extremely simple manner. Patent Claims:

1. Shank hook for looms, characterized by an articulated tongue (b) which in the position of use is pressed against the shank hook by a sliding clamp (d) and grips the shank rod between itself and the hook head.
