Description
Bohrwerkzeuq with a cylindrical drill bit The invention relates a drilling tool with a cylindrical drill bit with a diamond grain, Grooves for the exit of cooling water are distributed on the top over the circumference are arranged. Such hollow drills are used, for example, for drilling Blocks of granite or narmor. It is common practice to run a jet of water through the drilling tool pass through to remove the drilling mud and to cool the tool. Acquaintance Drilling tools are for the water leakage on the effective work surface, i.e. the Top of the ring-shaped drill bit with rectangular in the side view Provided grooves that extend from the top of the drill bit or the work surface extend down into the cylindrical drill bit. A disadvantage of this arrangement can be seen in the fact that with increasing wear of the tool, the free Cross-sectional area of each individual groove and thus the entire outlet cross-section for the water diminished. So the grooves are only about half the height of the Drill bit incorporated in the manufacture of the drilling tool, so must already before half the tool has been used to rework the drill bit done that through the use of special tools the grooves be reworked9 in order to continue to ensure sufficient water leakage, which, however, continuously changes or changes when the drill bit is used again. reduced. Such post-processing, however, requires a considerable amount of work, especially since the drill bit is difficult to machine when using diamond grains Attempts have been made to remedy this disadvantage by right from the start very deep grooves are provided. Apart from the fact that with such an arrangement there is a risk of a bruise of the drill bit, must also in such cases a subsequent incorporation of grooves can still be done if the drill bit with the to use up very expensive diamond grit completely for economic reasons should be. On the other hand, it is uneconomical, even during manufacture of the tool to form the grooves in the full height of the drill bit, as there is a assemble the drill bit from several circle segments of this type nvarde, their individual attachment to the tool carrier is considerably more complex than the attachment of a single cylindrical ring and its stability otherwise is lower.
The object of the invention is to provide a drilling tool with a cylindrical To create a drill bit, even with continued wear of the drill bit flawless water leakage is guaranteed without the need for post-processing individual grooves are required. According to the invention, a solution to the problem was found therein found that in addition to the grooves on the top to this Further grooves are arranged offset over the circumference on the underside of the drill bit which overlap in height with the grooves on the top. This training ensures a constant leakage of water even with continued wear of the drill bit while maintaining a sufficient cross-section for the water outlet, see above that the drill bit can be completely consumed without reworking to have to make individual grooves. The grooves are preferably on the Bottom arranged evenly around the circumference, each of them should stand in the middle between two grooves on the top so that it covers the whole Circumference, there is a continuous flow of water. With this arrangement it is also easily possible to form the grooves in the same size, with it then extends from the top and bottom of the drill bit over half of it Can extend height out, so that an overlap is guaranteed by which ensures that even after the drill bit has been used halfway, continuously there is a free cross-section for the water to exit.
Almost constant total cross-sectional areas for the outlet of the water as the drill bit is used up continuously achieved when the grooves on the top face upwards and the grooves on the bottom face Expand downwards so that all the grooves are triangular in the side view are designed. In this case, too, it is sufficient if the grooves on the top and bottom overlap each other in height by about 1 - 4 mm.
An embodiment of the invention is given below by reference explained on a drawing. In the drawing: FIG. 1 shows a drilling tool a cylindrical drill bit in cross section, FIG. a shows the top view of the drilling tool 1 and 3 show the development of the cylindrical drill bit.
The drilling tool shown in the drawing consists of a Steel cylinder 1 carrying a ring 2 made of an ointer mass, which in turn is sintered together with the cylindrical drill bit 3 and on the steel cylinder 1 is soldered on.
The drill bit 3 consists of a diamond grain with a metal bond.
On the top of the drill bit 3 are evenly spaced at 60 ° Six upper grooves 4 are distributed over the circumference and have a depth of 6 mm to have. Since the height of the drill bit 3 is 10 mm, the individual upper grooves are sufficient 4 thus beyond the average height of the drill bit 3.
On the underside of the drill bit 3 are also at a distance of 600 six lower grooves evenly distributed over the circumference, which one have the same height of 6 mm, so that an overlap of the upper and lower grooves is given at a height of 2 mm, as can be seen in FIG. The lower grooves 5 are arranged offset to the upper grooves 4, that in each case a lower groove 5 in the middle between two upper grooves 4 stands. All grooves 4 and 5 are otherwise uniform and triangular in the side view, wherein the upper grooves 4 after the top of the drill bit or in the direction widen to the work surface, while the lower grooves 5 widen downwards are trained.
