Es ist bekannt, daß man in einem gebogenen Glasstabe die Strahlen einer Lichtquelle fortleiten kann, wenn die Strahlen lediglich die Stirnseiten des Glasstabes treffen.
Sobald die Biegung des Stabes ein gewisses Maß nicht überschreitet, treten die Lichtstrahlen lediglich aus der Stirnseite aus.
