Der neue Stuhl besteht aus drei hohlen zweiteiligen Füßen, deren Teile α und b in bekannter Weise ineinandergeschoben werden können. An dem inneren Teil b sitzt ein Federknopf c, welcher durch passende Schlitze hindurchgreift und, in der ausgezogenen Lage von selbst einspringend, die beiden Teile a und b gegeneinander feststellt.
