Zusatz zum Patente 216798 vom 11. Juni 1907.Addendum to patent 216798 of June 11, 1907.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 10. August 1909 ab. Längste Dauer: 10. Juni 1922.Patented in the German Empire on August 10, 1909. Longest duration: June 10, 1922.
Metallsalzen geben. Dies ist z. B.The main patent relates to a process according to which so-called sulphite waste liquor is used to enable the neutralization of metal salt solutions without the formation of precipitates at the same time. The solutions obtained are particularly suitable for impregnating wood, for protection against rot and for other purposes.
It has now been found that instead of the sulphite waste liquor, sodium cellulose waste liquor or even a liquor containing the extractives of the wood can be used with similar success, and further that cellulose waste liquor also has the property of preventing the formation of precipitates when metal salt solutions are mixed with salts with which they otherwise give precipitates of poorly soluble metal salts through double conversion. This is e.g. B.
With reasonably In this case, a precipitate of iron or aluminum fluoride occurs in significant concentrations, but this is prevented if cellulose waste eye is added to the solution.
B.The solution can be prepared in such a way that all of the substances mentioned are in solution with one another mixed. But you can also z. B.
die festen Salze mit der Zelluloseabfallauge tränken und dadurch erreichen, daß sie sich ohne nennenswerten Rückstand in Wasser 35 impregnate the solid salts with the cellulose spent liquor and achieved in that they are without significant residue in water 35
This method is particularly suitable in the event that the salts are in the form used by briquettes.
So you make briquettes, for example for impregnation purposes, made of iron vitriol, aluminum sulfate and fluorosodium in a known manner and then soak them with highly concentrated cellulose waste eye. This watering has the further advantage that the salt briquettes, which otherwise oxidize in the air, weather easily and tend to disintegrate, are effectively protected against this.
Instead of soaking the finished briquettes with cellulose lye, you can use any salt for Put the lye in it and then press the mixture into briquettes.
