sind zur Hälfte herausgezogen, die oberen Platten d und e werden auseinandergeklappt und

Das Neue der Construction liegt in der Vergröfserung des Tisches durch Ausziehen der
Theile α und b, sowie Auseinanderklappen der obersten Theile d und e. Um den Tisch zu
vergröfsern, zieht man an den beiden Langseiten, Fig. i, die untersten Platten α und b
nach links und rechts zur Hälfte aus, wie bei Fig. 2 ersichtlich. Hierauf nimmt man die zwei
oben liegenden Platten d und e, welche mit eingelassenen Scharnieren an die Platte c angeschlagen
sind, und legt dieselben auf die herausgezogenen Platten α und b. Dadurch ist
der Tisch noch einmal so grofs, wie er ursprünglich war. Um den Tisch nun weiter zu vergröfsern,
zieht man die Platten α und b nach rechts und links so weit aus, bis die Platten d
und e zwischen die Platten α und b sich einfügen
können. Der Tisch ist somit dreifach vergröfsert und ganz ausgezogen. Zum Feststellen
der ausgezogenen Theile bedient man sich der Bockfüfse f, wie Fig. 4 zeigt.The novelty of the construction lies in the enlargement of the table by pulling out the parts α and b, as well as unfolding the uppermost parts d and e.
