Die Erfindung betrifft ein Sofa oder eine' Bank, also ein Sitzmöbel, das mit einem zusammenklappbaren Tisch derart in Verbindung steht, daß die Stützen und Streben des Tisches in dem unter dem Sitz befindlichen Kasten des Möbels vollkommen verschwinden und die Tischplatte selbst als Verschlußplatte des Kastens dient. Insbesondere für Kinderstuben dürfte dieses Möbel geeignet sein.

Das Möbel besteht im wesentlichen aus dem Sitz A und dem zusammenklappbaren Tisch B. The furniture consists essentially of the seat A and the collapsible table B.

Beide sind durch die Achsen α miteinander verbunden, und zwar schwingt der Tisch beim Zusammenklappen um, diese Achsen, welche sich in den Seitenlehnen des Sitzmöbels befinden. Der untere Teil d der Stütze schwingt um eine senkrechte Achse f. Die Ober- und Unterteile der Stützen werden im Gebrauchszustande zweckmäßig durch einen Riegel g zusammengehalten. Der Unterteil d der Stütze ist mittels eines Verbindungsstückes A derart zu der rückwärtigen Verschlußplatte e in Beziehung gebracht, daß diese in eine Einkerbung i des Verbindungsstückes A hineinragt. Hierdurch wird eine zwangläufige Verbindung hergestellt zwischen der Stütze d, der rückwärtigen Verschlußplatte e und dem mit letzterer fest verbundenen Oberteile c der Stütze und damit auch mit der Tischplatte.
