Abstract

The knobs (31) controlling the stove and hob elements are in the vertical front of the cooker and are linked mechanicaly to indicator dials (4) in the top of the cooker so that the position of the controls is easily visible. The hinged cover (2) is made of glass and has a layer of opaque material deposited on its underside except along a strip at the front where it is over the dials so that the dials are visible even when the cover is down.
