Claims (4)

Patentansprüche:.Claims :. 1. Verfahren zur Durchführung beliebiger endothermer Prozesse im Schachtofen, z.B. zum Brennen von Kalk, wobei das Brenngut in einer ersten Zone vorgewärmt, in einer darauffplgenden Zone der unmittelbaren Einwirkung eines Brennstoffes und in einer v/eiteren Zone einer Abkühlung unterworfen wird und wobei die Vorwärmzone zumindest durch einen Teil des für den Brennprozeß benötigten Varmträgers abwechselnd im Gleichstrom und im Gegenstrom durchsetzt wird, sodaß der beim üblichen Schachtofen anfallende Wärmeüberschuß in der Vorwärmzone wieder für den Brennprozeß nutzbar gemacht wird, wobei ferner mit zwei Pfenschächten gearbeitet wird, die am unteren Ende der Wärmezone miteinander verbunden sind, derart, daß in der ersten Wärmeperiode in einem der Schächte frische Verbrennungsluft (Primärluft), oberhalb der Vorwärmezone eingeführt, sodann im Gleichstrom durch die Brennzone, anschließend durch eine Schacht- oder Kanalverbindung in den zweiten Schacht und in diesem nach oben im Gegenstrom mit dem bereits entstandenen Abgas nach.außen geführt wird und daß Sekundärluft in einem oder beiden Schächten im Gegenstrom von unten der Kühlzone zugeführt und mit der Primärluft vereinigt wird, worauf sich durch Umschalten in einer zweiten Brennperiode diese Vorgänge gegengleich wiederholen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Brennstoff dem Brenngut an mehr als einer Stelle in unterschiedlichem Ausmaß zugeführt wird, sodaß ein Teil des Brennstoffes erst mit der dem Schacht von tunken zugeführten Kühlluft verbrennt.1.
