Vorrichtung zum Trocknen von Dampf. Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 24. September 1907 ab.Device for drying steam. Patented in the German Empire on September 24, 1907 .
The invention aims to dry the steam by compressing the water bubbles, in that the steam streams meet and at these points rays or layers form with increasing density until water droplets arise, which enter the boiler flow back.
This drying of the vapor is carried out in devices which are suitably located in the vapor dome or in containers which have funnel-shaped bulged pipes or partitions with trough-like bends, in 1 which meet the vapor streams, rubbing and so the compression of the water bubbles in the thickening agent layers bring about until finally water droplets appear, which return to the steam boiler.
The invention. is shown in the drawing in two embodiments, namely shows:
Fig. Ι a section through a cylindrical vertical steam dome and
2 shows a section perpendicular to the axis of a cylindrical steam dome lying horizontally.
In Fig. 1, 1 is the steam boiler and 2 is the vertical cylinder of the steam dome, which is covered by a cover 3 that may be removable. In the interior of the dome, a cylindrical container 4 is arranged coaxially with the latter and is supported from the cylinder 2 by rails 5 or in some other way. In the bottom 6 of this container a pipe 7 is arranged, which is in communication with the boiler 1 and is immersed in the water of the latter. The water level is indicated by line 8. The lid 9 of the container 4 carries a tube 10 in the middle, which. at 11 is bulged. This tube 10 receives a funnel 12 which opens into a tube 13 and which is supported by supports 14. The container 4 has two chambers 15 and 16 which are separated from one another by a 'perforated plate 17, which latter distributes the passage of the steam evenly. The annular chamber 16 communicates with the vapor discharge pipe 18 through the nozzle 19. The steam is circulated and dried in the following way: When steam is withdrawn, the rising steam first enters the annular space between cylinders 2 and 4 of the steam dome on the path indicated by arrows, in order to flow to the upper part of the latter and from here to flow evenly towards the center on all sides in order to get into the interior of the tube 10. Since the streams of steam rub against each other and collide with each other during this movement, the water bubbles are reduced and water droplets are formed in the center, which increase in size and, as a result of their weight, separate from the steam and fall into the funnel 12, while the lighter steam flows around the funnel, ie through the bulge 11 of the tube 10.
Durch das Rohr 13 geht also ein Strahl, der bereits große Dichtigkeit besitzt und der von neuem mit dem Dampf in BerührungThrough the pipe 13 so goes a beam that already has great tightness and the in contact with the steam again
The friction occurs so below the funnel 12 in the lower part of the tube 10 again and enlarged nor the compression of the water droplets, which finally reach the chamber 15 and the bottom 6 of the container, to return through the pipe 7 to the boiler. The dried steam on the other hand rises again in the chamber 15 after it has left the pipe 10 upwards and flows evenly through the openings of the perforated plate 17 to in to reach the annular chamber 16 and from here through the extension 19 and the tube 18 to get to the steam consumption point.
In Fig. 2 trägt der Kessel 20 durch einenIn Fig. 2, the kettle 20 carries through a
Dampfabflußrohr 35 in Verbindung steht.
Pipe socket 21 the steam dome 22, which here, however, has the shape of a horizontally lying cylinder. In the interior of this dome there is a coaxial cylindrical container 23 which is supported by the steam dome 22 by rails 24 or in some other way. This container 23 has one or more pipes 25 at the bottom, which are connected to the boiler 20 and immerse in the water, the level of which is indicated by the line 26. The upper open part of the container 23 carries a partition wall 27 on each side, which at 28 bulges in the shape of a trough. A trough 29 is arranged between the two partitions 27, which opens out into a channel or into a slot 30 and is supported by supports 31. The container 23 has two chambers 32, 33, of which the upper chamber 32 is located above a perforated plate 34 and is in communication with the steam discharge pipe 35.
The. Flow and drying of the steam takes place just as in the device described above in the following way: The steam rising from the boiler moves in the direction of the arrows and 'first enters the space between the dome 22 and the cylindrical container 23, flows into the upper part of the steam dome, penetrates one another from both sides and flows into the space separated by the partition walls 27. The two steam streams collide here in a vertical plane and rub and pass through this space in the middle and to the side of the trough 29. The compacted parts exit through the longitudinal slot 30. The lighter steam, on the other hand, flows through the space enclosed by the partitions 27 outside the trough 29, passing through the bulges 28. The two steam streams thus formed thus strike again in the lower part of the space enclosed by the partitions 27 on the denser layers emerging through the slot 30, further friction and further compression of the water bubbles and water droplets occurs, which finally fall into the chamber 33 and return from the bottom of the container 23 through the pipe 25 into the boiler. The dried steam, on the other hand, rises again in the chamber 33 and passes through the holes in the perforated sheet 34 into the chamber 32, to here through the lines 35 of the steam consumption point to be fed.
'In certain cases two or three funnels can be found in the same central tube or place two or three troughs on top of each other between the partitions to To increase compaction of the water bubbles and thus create devices that double or have a triple effect. In the same way, two or a large number can be placed in the same container of pipes with funnels or partitions with troughs to provide an increased effect to reach. '
