Die in einem besonderen Werkzeug hergestellten und vorteilhaft auf ihrer rückwärtigen Seite mit aufgelegten Metallscheiben ausgesteiften Flanschen werden in die eine Hälfte einer zweigeteilten und geöffneten für die Ausformung des Wellrohres hergerichteten Blasform vorgewärmt eingelegt, die Blasform geschlossen und aus der über derselben stehenden Ringdüse durch die Flanschen hindurch ein entsprechend enger schlauchförmiger Vorformling in die Blasform bis über die von unten in dieselbe einmündende Blasdüse ausgestoßen, der Vorformling durch Schließen der an den Stirnseiten der Blasform angeordneten Abquetschschieber oben und unten unter Einschluß der Blasdüse verschlossen und dieser dann mit entsprechend starkem Druck zum Wellrohr aufgeblasen. Durch den Blasdruck und die Blaswärme wird gleichzeitig das Wellrohr flüssigkeitsdicht mit den Flanschen verschweißt.
