The harmonium shown on the drawing can be connected to any pianino in such a way that the two keyboards can be coupled together or independently at will can use from each other.

The two bellows boxes AA \ whose bellows are set in motion by the pedals aa ¹ are connected to one another by the trapezoidal box B in which the collecting bellows b is located. This expands accordingly by the air supplied to it from the side bellows and releases the same through the pipe c. to the votes in box C. In order to be able to use the movement of the pianino while stepping on the harmonium pedal, the same is provided with the attachment α on which the heel is placed while the pendulum a ^{l is} moved further with the tip of the foot.

The keyboard of the harmonium is above that of the pianino, and the coupling of both takes place in the following way (see Fig. 2 and Fig. 5 to 8): The two trains e are connected with levers e ', which - on theirs below theirs Pivot point e * located arms carry the bar e ² , which extends from one end of the'harmonium keyboard to the other.
