Zur Bearbeitung von sehr weichem Boden, insbesondere von Moorland, müssen die Räder
der gebräuchlichen Pflüge eine bedeutende Verbreiterung erfahren, damit der Boden den
Pflug trägt und letzterer nicht einsinkt. Die notwendige Verbreiterung des Landrades ist'
an keine Grenze gebunden; wohl ist dies aber bei dem Furchenrad, das bekanntlich in der
gepflügten Furche läuft, der Fall. Äußerstenfalls kann nämlich die Verbreiterung des
Furchenrades nur bis zur Breite der Furche, also auf etwa 400 mm erfolgen. Auch diese
Breite ist aber, wie Versuche erwiesen haben, noch nicht ausreichend, um einem Einsinken des PfIuges
