Zu dem Zweck, die der Heizung dienenden Warmwasserkessel auch dem Küchenbedarf nutzbar
zu machen, ist erforderlich, dafs die Feuerführung in der Art regulirt werden kann, dafs
dieselbe entweder dem Heizzweck allein, oder dafs sie unter Umständen zugleich auch dem

In den Feuerraum F des Warmwasserkessels ist der nach unten und oben offene Kochmantel
K eingebaut, wie aus Fig. 1 und 2 ersichtlich; Fig. 3 und 4 zeigen den letzteren
in vergröfsertem Mafsstabe. Der halsförmige, cylindrische Theil hh des Mantels bei aa, in
der Richtung nach dem Fuchs durchbrochen, ist von dem gleichfalls durchbrochenen, verstellbaren
Deckmantel dd derart umgeben; dafs die Oeffnung α entweder gedeckt oder, ganz
nach Belieben, auch theilweise offen gehalten werden kann. Die Verstellung des Deckmantels
d geschieht mittelst Kurbel k, Getriebes g und gezahnten Umfanges von d und
macht es möglich, bei deckender Stellung die Hauptgase lediglich auf den Weg durch die
Zugkanäle des Kessels zu beschränken, bei geöffneter Stellung dagegen die Gase in gröfserer
oder geringerer Menge auch durch die Oeffnung α des oben mit den bekannten Kochringen
abgedeckten Mantels h zu führen und die in letzterem auf einer Rostplatte oder auf
Ringen aufgestellten Kochgefäfse zu erhitzen.
