Die Vorrichtung besteht in der Hauptsache aus einer mit einem Schlitz α versehenen Platte b, an der auf der Innenseite in bekannter Weise raspelartig aufgehauene Backen c, d angeordnet sind. Gegen die nach oben gerichteten Backen c legt sich der Besenstiel, während die nach unten gerichtete Backe d in die Bohrung des Besens eingreift. In dem Schlitz α ist ein Z-förmiger Schieber e beweglich gelagert, dessen unterer Schenkel f ebenfalls in die Bohrung des Besens eingreift, während in dem oberen Schenkel g eine Schraube h vorgesehen ist. Diese Schraube trägt an ihrem Ende eine Platte i, deren gezahnte Ränder den Besenstiel festhalten. Die Befestigung geschieht in der Art, daß die Backen d, f in die Bohrung k des Besens gesteckt werden, während die Platte i durch die Schraube h gegen den Besenstiel gepreßt wird. Durch das Anziehen der Schraube werden gleichzeitig die Backen f und d auseinandergeschraubt und klemmen sich in der Bohrung des Besens fest. Die Ausbildung der Stielbefestigung läßt auch zu, daß der Besen geneigt am Stiel befestigt werden kann, wie in Fig. 2 der Zeichnung in punktierten · Linien angegeben ist. Hierdurch soll erreicht werden, daß der Besen besser ausgenutzt werden kann, wenn z. B. die Borsten an der einen Seite stärker abgearbeitet sind.Fig. Ι shows the arrangement of the attachment between handle and broom,
