Auf derselben können die verschiedenen Teile eingestellt werden. Die Unterplatte α trägt eine diagonal verlaufende Skala b zur Fixierung der Größenmaße sowie am Ende der Ferse eine Skala c und eine weitere, d, über der Ferse. Die in Fig. 2 dargestellte Oberplatte h wird durch die zwei Schrauben e der Unterplatte α und mittels eines Schlitzes g geführt. Die Oberplatte h trägt außerdem zwei Führungen I und m, die je aus zwei Schrauben bestehen. Mittels dieser Führungen I und m können die Schablonenelemente s und 0 geführt werden. Die Skala b dient in allen Fällen zur' Einstellung der Schablone für die Fußbreite. Wenn der Fuß normal ist, so wird mit Hilfe der Skala j die Länge des Fußes durch Einstellen des Schablonenelementes 0 bestimmt. Wenn dagegen der Fuß anormal ist, so stellt man wiederum zunächst mit Hilfe der Skala b die Schablonenteile a und h entsprechend der Fußmessung ein. Die gegenseitige Lage der beiden Platten wird durch Anziehen der Schraubenmuttern f gesichert. In dieser Stellung läßt die Platte h einige Gradteile der Skala c frei.
