Schwefelhexafluorid (SFe),The invention relates to a method for filling high-voltage lines with a high-voltage conductor
surrounding metal encapsulation, with a pressurized insulating gas, in particular with
Sulfur hexafluoride (SFe),
From the magazine "IEEE-Transactions on power ipparatus and systems", 1970, pp. 17 to 23, is one
High-voltage line known, which has a high-voltage conductor and a metal encapsulation surrounding it
having. The metal enclosure is filled with pressurized sulfur hexafluoride as an insulating gas,
For this purpose, the high-voltage line is composed of individual sections that are in a
Factory completed, evacuated and then filled with the insulating gas. So the sections will
completely transported from the factory to the place of operation. There they are put together with the help of connecting pieces
austritt, und daß nach dem Schließen IsoliergasThe object of the invention, on the other hand, is to reduce the considerable effort involved in transporting the fully assembled
Parts of a high-voltage line of the type mentioned above arise to reduce. This task is according to the invention
solved in that the Metallkapsetung after installing the conductor at the place of operation
Is filled with the insulating gas from one end, with one from the encapsulation ins
Free leading outlet is open so that the outlet is closed when the outlet is predominantly insulating gas
escapes, and that after closing, insulating gas

no special evacuation is required. Rather, the insulating gas entering from one end of the enclosure should «»
let the air out of the enclosure. The new
Process is particularly beneficial for ri-.i as an isolating agent
well-known sulfur hexafluoride, because this heavy gas with a considerable difference of its specific
Weight compared to air is well suited to displacing the air from a metal enclosure without
that a substantial loss of insulating gas occurs through mixing
DerWhen filling the insulating gas according to the method according to the invention, initially practically only atmospheric pressure is present in the encapsulation. Of the

Overpressure of the insulating gas is kept as low as possible,
so that no excessive flow velocities arise, the turbulence and thus mixtures
of the insulating gas with the air contained in the enclosure. Only after the complete

and is filled with sulfur hexafluoride, to an SFs-air mixture, the air content of which is only 10
up to 20%.
The method according to the invention can be assisted with a pump which is arranged at the outlet and which generates a slight negative pressure through which the insulating gas is sucked into the encapsulation. Under certain circumstances, the negative pressure can also be created before the insulating gas is filled. This does not mean, however, that an attempt is made to completely remove the air from the enclosure; because an evacuation of high-voltage lines of the above type at the operating site is uneconomical with the means used in a factory. Rather, a simple pump, such. B. rotary pumps or fans, attainable negative pressure of no more than 1/3 atmosphere. This negative pressure, which can advantageously be achieved with little effort, can be used for sucking in the insulating gas and at the same time lowers the proportion of air in the insulating gas-air mixture finally contained in the encapsulation. When the insulating gas is filled in for the first time, it is then even possible to work without any overpressure
The method according to the invention can be further improved by separating and collecting the insulating gas from a gas mixture emerging at the outlet. Here, too, you can z. B. Use weight differences between the insulating gas and the air to recover the insulating gas from the mixture in a centrifugal process. The insulating gas collected can then be filled into the encapsulation again.
