Description
Die Entsalzung von Meerwasser ist eine für viele Länder interessante Technologie um zu Trink und Nutzwasser zu gelangen. Sowohl Entwicklungsländer wie auch Länder in Wüstengebieten haben zwar vielfach Zugang zu Meerwasser aber für Mensch, Tier und Landwirtschaft zu wenig Nutzwasser.The desalination of sea water is one for many countries interesting technology to get drinking and industrial water. Bisherige Verfahren zur Meerwasserentsalzung gehen häufig vom Prinzip der umgekehrten Osmose bzw. Ultrafiltration aus. Mit hohem Druck wird hier das Meerwasser durch Membranen gedrückt, die das Salz zurückhalten. Mit der hier dargestellten Technologie sollte es Möglich sein im Durchflussprinzip Meerwasser im großen Stiel zu entsalzen.Previous methods for desalination go often based on the principle of reverse osmosis or ultrafiltration. Dabei sollen die Ionen des Meerwassers an mit Ionenaustauschermaterialien beschichtete Elektroden binden und zwar die Anionen an Anionenaustauscher (+) der Anoden und die Kationen an Kationenaustauscher (-) der Kathoden. Im Sinne eines Kreisprozesses lässen sich nun durch einfache elektrische Umpolung der Elektroden die zuvor absorbierten Ionen desorbieren.
