Abstract

Reflector comprises a light source, a light conductor(s) and a reflector producing light radiation. The reflector is in a central position and there is a light closure in two right angle axes which is much longer in one axis than the other. Preferably the light conductor is glass fiber, polycarbonate and/or polymethyl methacrylate and the light source is an LED.

Claims (12)

Scheinwerfer für Kraftfahrzeuge umfassend mindestens eine Lichtquelle (12) mindestens einen jeder Lichtquelle (12) zugeordneten Lichtleiter (19, 34), wobei jedem Lichtleiter (19, 34) ein Lichtabschlusskörper zugeordnet ist, und der Lichtabschlusskörper mit einem Reflektor (24) zusammenwirkt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Lichtaustrittsquerschnitt (22) des Lichtabschlusskörpers zwei aufeinander senkrecht stehende Achsen aufweist, und die Länge des Lichtabschlusskörpers in Richtung der einen Achse sehr viel größer als in Richtung der anderen Achse ist und wobei der Reflektor (24) einen zentralen Bereich (25) in Form einer Parabel oder einer Freiformfläche aufweist und wobei der zentrale Bereich (25) im wesentlichen parallel zur Richtung der größeren Länge des Lichtabschlusskörpers verlauft.1.
