Abstract

The dog training toy may be filled with dry dog food and has a closable opening at its edge (5) and a rear surface with many profile surface and neighboring sections (3,4). The shape f the toy prevents it from lying flat on the ground, making it easier for a dog to pick up. The toy may also have a carrying strap and has a diameter of c. 15-25cm and a height of 2-5cm depending on the type of dog to be trained.

Description

(001) Die Erfindung betrifft eine mit Trockenfutter befüllbare Wurfscheibe aus stabilem, am Umfang armiertem Stoff für das aktive Training von Hunden.(001) The invention relates to a throwing disc that can be filled with dry food and is made of a stable material reinforced on the circumference for the active training of dogs.

(002) Der wesentliche Aspekt der befüllbaren Wurfscheibe ist die kombinierte Nutzung verschiedener im Hund als Anlage vorhandener Instinkte, zur Unterstützung moderner Erziehungsmethoden.(002) The essential aspect of the fillable flying disc is the combined use of various instincts inherent in the dog to support modern training methods.

Die US 5,706,762 A beschreibt Trainingsgeräte für Hunde als 'Dummies' mit lebensechtem Aussehen, z.B. eines Vogels. Weder ist dabei das verwendete Material vergleichbar, noch sind diese Dummies mit Futter befüllbar. Die Patentschrift DE 199 45 719 C 2 beschreibt einen Hundefutterbeutel der ähnliche, erzieherische Zielsetzungen, wie die befüllbare Wurfscheibe hat, dabei aber ausschließlich von einer 'zylindrischen Form, bei einer Länge von 15 bis 25 cm und Durchmessern von 4-8 cm' ausgeht, vglb. einem Schüleretui (Schlamper-Etui). Die dabei gemeinsame Verwendung von Reiß- und Klettverschlüssen entspricht dem Stand der Technik bei Textilprodukten, wie z.B. Sport- und Winterjacken oder auch Handtaschen, Rucksäcken etc., stellt von daher prinzipiell also auch keinen technischen Fortschritt für Futterbeutel dar, der zu schützen wäre.US 5,706,762 A describes training devices for dogs as 'dummies' with a lifelike appearance, e.g. of a bird. Zylindrische Wurfdummies, - auch schwimmfähige-, sind allgemein bekannt, sind allerdings nicht zur Fütterung vorgesehen. Bekannte Wurfscheiben sind in verschiedensten Ausführungen und Materialien für Mensch und Hund am Markt verfügbar und im Leistungssport als Diskus gebräuchlich, befüllbare Varianten, insbesondere zum Hundetraining, sind jedoch nicht bekannt. Die Patente #6,186,320; 6,325,207; Item #60 1048001 (Firma CASE LOGIC, USA) beziehen sich auf quasi runde Schutzetuis für Audio- und Video Cds, wobei sich der Patentschutz auf die speziellen Schutzhüllen (ProSleeves®) für Einzel-CDs in den Etuis beziehen dürfte, da entsprechend ähnliche Etuis für mobile CD-/ MD-Diskman-Abspielgeräte vielfach am Markt in rund und eckig vertreten sind. In den fünfziger / sechziger Jahren waren runde Schutzetuis in der Fotografie, für damals übliche Blitzlichtreflektoren, gebräuchlich.Cylindrical throwing dummies, including floating ones, are well known, but are not intended for feeding. (004) Ziel der Erfindung ist es, eine textile, befüllbare Wurfscheibe zu schaffen, die vom Hund sowohl im Flug, als auch am Boden liegend, gut aufgenommen werden kann. Die Wurfeigenschaften sollen dabei, trotz wechselnder Füllungsgrade, akzeptabel bleiben. Wahlweise soll der Wurf aus dem Handgelenk heraus, mittels Armstreckung oder aber in Verbindung mit Körperdrehungen erfolgen, um unterschiedliche Wurfdistanzen zu erreichen. Die Wurfscheibe soll dabei den Jagdbedürfnissen des Hundes entsprechen und damit gleichzeitig die Erziehung erleichtern. Sinn ist es, beim Hund spielerisch Lernbereitschaft zu erzeugen und nicht ihm die Initiative zu überlassen. 'Spielanfang und Ende' bestimmt der Mensch, denn der Hund wird seine gewohnte 'Nahrungsquelle und Beute' nicht achtlos liegenlassen, sondern zu seinem Menschen in Sicherheit bringen, um seinen Beuteanteil zu erhalten.(004) The aim of the invention is to create a textile, fillable throwing disc that can be easily picked up by the dog both in flight and lying on the ground. (005) Die Anforderungen werden erfindungsgemäß durch eine Annäherung an das Profil von Diskusscheiben erfüllt. Diese Profilform ergibt einen flachen, strömungsgünstigen und damit konstruktiv leicht zu versteifenden Rand, mit einer im Zentrum größeren Höhe. Neben einer guten Handhabung beim Werfen, stellt sich gleichzeitig das hierbei gewünschte Raumvolumen in Inneren ein, das sich letztlich durch die Durchmesserwahl und Bauhöhe variieren läßt. Zentrales Element ist eine vorzugsweise scheibenförmige Tasche mit den o.g. Durchmessern von ca. 15 ... -18 -... 22 cm, deren beiden Stirnflächen mittels Reißverschluß, der sich ca. 180° öffnen läßt, am Umfang umlaufend verbunden werden. Nähtechnisch kann dabei beidseitig eine Wulst entlang des Reißverschlusses erreicht werden, die die Steifigkeit der Scheibe weiter erhöht, die Stabilisierung der runden Form gewährleistet und gleichzeitig eine Höhendehnung ermöglicht. Die Höhe ergibt sich durch den verwendeten Reißverschluß und die Nahtausführung, bzw. die Nahtlage (am Außendurchmesser oder leicht nach innen versetzt) mit unter 1 cm oder darüber. Eine dicht an der Reißverschlußzahnung liegende, beidseitige Wulst schützt gleichzeitig vor unbeabsichtigtem Öffnen, da der Reißverschluß gleichzeitig gut abgedeckt ist. Diese scheibenförmige Tasche ist als Basis bereits funktionsfähig, allerdings am Boden liegend für den Hund schwierig aufzunehmen, was aber bereits durch den Inhalt (Füllungsgrad und Größe der Futterbrocken) wiederum positiv beeinflußt werden kann. Alternativ sind bei einfachen Ausführungen dann die Öffnungen auch auf den Stirnflächen (einseitig oder beidseitig) möglich, eine zusätzlichen Reißverschlußabdeckung mit Klettverschlußlaschen verhindert dann bereits das plane Aufliegen am Boden und erleichtert somit das einfache Aufnehmen und sichert den Reißverschluß zusätzlich gegen unplanmäßiges Öffnen.
Am Umfang ergibt sich dann lediglich eine formstabilisierende, lippenähnliche Verbindungsnaht. Eine dünne, eingearbeitete Trennwand (Membrane) zwischen den beiden Stirnflächen bewirkt hierbei gleichzeitig bereits eine Einteilung in zwei Fächer. Bei der Materialauswahl ist von Stoffen, wie Jeans, Leinen, Canvas o.a. aber auch Leder, bzw. geeigneten, synthetischen Materialien auszugehen, die einerseits robust und pflegeleicht sein müssen, anderseits aber auch lebensmittelgerecht und speichelbeständig sein sollen. Reißverschlüsse und Beschläge sind so zu gestalten, dass Verletzungen bei der Handhabung vermieden werden und versehentliches öffnen (z.B. mittels Klettverschluß oder zwischen Wulsten) unterbunden wird. Der Hund ist damit verstärkt auf die Hilfe des Menschen angewiesen, um das Futter zu erreichen, will er seine Nahrungsquelle für die Zukunft nicht zerstören. Fertigungstechnische Vorteile sind für den Zweck, bei ähnlichen Raum- und Flugeigenschaften, durch eine elyptische Formgebung (Fig.2) zu erwarten. Claims

1. A throwing disc that can be filled with dry food for training dogs, characterized in that the disc has a flat, ideally discus-like profile ( Fig. 1, 2) and thus preferably a height that increases towards the center, as well as closable openings on the circumference ( 5 ) and/or in the front surfaces ( 6 ), wherein the profile shape can also be approximately achieved by several elements placed on top of one another ( 3 , 4 , 4.1 ) or the content itself ( Fig. 3-5).

2. Fillable throwing disc according to claim 1, characterized in that tabs, knobs, rings or pockets ( Fig. 4, 5) can be applied to the front side, optionally additionally applied, possibly increasing in height towards the center, which additionally prevent the disc from lying flat on the ground, in order to improve the picking up.

3. Fillable flying disc according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that for textiles and bags, also in combination, usual fasteners are used, here zippers, Velcro fasteners, snap fasteners or similar, which, to avoid injuries, are preferably not metallic.

4. Fillable flying disc according to claim 1, 2 or 3, characterized in that tabs, buckles or straps optionally attached to the circumference facilitate handling, transport and storage.
