Abstract

The chain saw (1) comprises a housing (2) which has at least one light source (7,7'). The light source produces a light pointer (8,8') which falls on the workpiece at a predetermined distance (15) from the cutting tool (5). The light pointer is at an acute angle (17,17') to the level extension of the cutting tool. Preferably, two light pointers are provided, which intersect at a predetermined distance to the cutting tool. The light source can be a semiconductor laser or a light emitting diode (LED).

Claims (9)

Säge, insbesondere Kettensäge (1), wobei die Säge (1) ein Schneidwerkzeug (5) aufweist, welches bewegbar an ei­ nem Gehäuse (2) gehalten ist, um ein Werkstück (6) zu sä­ gen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß am Gehäuse (2) minde­ stens eine Lichtquelle (7, 7') vorgesehen ist, welche mindestens einen Lichtzeiger (8, 8') erzeugt, der in ei­ nem vorgegebenen Abstand (15) vom Schneidwerkzeug (5) auf das Werkstück (6) fällt.1.
