Abstract

An edging system for plant beds, edging for terracing and for other edging applications, has plastic moulded vertical profiles (2) linked by their flexible edges (3) and with the top edge shaped as required. The system is manufactured in a continuous strip and is cut to the required lengths. The edges of the panels can be secured to upright posts (6). The panels can be bent in either horizontal direction to form curved edging. Alternately the strips can be separated and separately secured to flexible supports, either in the form of straps or using a foil.

Claims (10)

1. Vorrichtung zum Herstellen gerader oder beliebig geschwungener Einfriedungen von Beeten, Rasenflächen usw., dadurch gekennzeichnet und wie in Fig. 1, 2, 3 dargestellt, dass die Form des Grundelementes 1 eine bestimmbarer Länge und Höhe hat, deren Ansichtseite eine Profilierung durch mehrere lotrechte Segmente 2 mit geeignetem Querschnitt, oberer Endausbildung und entsprechendem seitlichem Abschluss der äußeren Segmente aufweist, bei der als eine Art Platte, die einzelnen Segmente 2 nur durch geeignete Stege 3 verbunden ein gleichmäßiges horizontales Biegen 4 des einteiligen Elementes ermöglicht, wobei die Bruchsicherheit der Stege 3 durch entsprechende Materialien zusätzlich erhöht oder ausgeschlossen werden kann, sodass sie verwindungssteif, aber in beide horizontalen 4 Richtungen beweglich, die Verwendung als gerade Beeteinfassung gewährleistet aber auch gebogene ermöglicht, dabei das Durchwachsen von Gräsern, Wurzeln usw. ausschließt,
  • - dass sich durch einfaches Durchtrennen der Stege 3 des Grundelementes 1, wie in Fig. 4, 5, 6, dargestellt, eine gewisse Anzahl von einzelnen Segmenten 2 ergibt, die rückseitig mittels mindestens eines Flexverbinders 8 in geeigneter Weise verbunden, ein mehrteiliges Element ergibt, das sowohl für gerade, als auch in beide horizontale 4 und für in vertikale 10 Richtungen gebogene Einfriedungen verwendbar ist, dabei mit anderen Elementen kompertibel bleibt,
  • - dass die einzelnen Segmente 2 entsprechend dem Grundelement 1 gegossen werden und in/auf das noch entsprechend flüssige und klebende Gießmaterial der Segmente 2 eine geeignete Folie 11 oder dergleichen so ein-/aufgelegt wird, das sie mit eingebunden wird und damit ein mehrteiliges Element ergibt, dass somit nicht nur für gerade und in beide horizontale 4, sondern auch für in vertikale 10 Richtungen gebogene Einfriedungen verwendbar ist, dabei mit anderen Elementen kompertibel bleibt,
  • - dass die Bruchsicherheit der Stege 3 oder Flexverbinder 8 durch geeignete Einlagen ausgeschlossen ist,
  • - dass bei geeigneter rückseitiger Ausführung mittelels einer Folie 11 oder dergleichen auch mehrteilige Elemente das Durchwachsen von Gräsern, Wurzeln usw. verhindern.
